About the Wells

The team has identified three previously drilled oil and gas wells that would act as injector wells and three wells that would act as production wells. An injection well will be pumped with water that gets hot and the producing wells will use the steam from the injector wells to generate energy. While testing will need to be done to ensure that the wells are up to code, repurposing wells would be significantly less costly to taxpayers and prove environmentally friendly.
